The Pirates Invitational Cross Country meet is held annually at Memorial Park in Brockville, Ontario. It was founded in 1977 by coaching legend Ron Hungerford and has been run nearly every year since. It is usually held in early October and provides athletes with great competition as the meet usually attracts over 40 schools.
