Varsity Boys
Large School: Thousand Islands
(Ont.), lead by Matt Leeder (5th,15:31) and Geoff Millard (11th,15:53)
defends their team title by edging out Bethlehem by 4 points 73-77.
Bethlehem was lead by top 10 finished from Adam Hill (4th,15:30) and Matt
Shaffer (6th:15:32)Brian Rhodes-Devey of Guilderland takes the individual
title over Colonie's Kevin Treadway.
Small Schools: Kellenberg places
three in the top ten to easily take the team title over Tri-Valley 41-84.
Chris Voda (4th,16:38) and Paul Szczepaniak (6th:16:39) lead Kellenberg.
Individual champ Travis Wolfe (16:22) lead Tri-Valley. |

Varsity Girls
Large Schools: Bethlehem,
without Emily Malinowski, still places five in the top ten to beat out
runner-up Columbia for the second straight weekend 24-77. Bethlehem was
lead by a 1-2 finish by Roxanne Wegman (18:16) and Kristen Kinney (18:41)
and Clarke Luke (5th,19:09) also finishing in the top five. Columbia was
lead by Margaret Rowley (8th,19:24) and Ashley Ferriero (10th, 19:42)
finishing in the top ten,
Small Schools: Thousand Islands
also takes the girls title with a seven point win over Waterloo 58-65. Jen
Wynands (2nd,18:42) and Erica Hurtle (7th,20:50) lead Thousand Islands.

Varsity Boys:
Shenendehowa, lead
by Individual champion Dan McManamon. Take out running up Bethlehem
46-71 with John Jay of Section 1 3rd (102 pts.) and Niskayuna a strong
4th (109 pts.). Shen was also paced by top ten performance from Andrew
Benson (7th,16:26) and Chris Killough (8th,16:30). Bethlehem was lead by
runner-up Matt Shaffer (15:51) with Conor Murphy (9th,16:34) and Alex
Tiberio (10th,16:37). Bethlehem was also without one of their top
runners, Adam Hill, but he should be back this week.

Varsity Girls
Bethlehem took early bragging
rights from Columbia as the Eagles placed three in the top ten to edge out
the Blue Devils 48-59. Bethlehem was lead by runner-up Emily Malinowski
(18:13) and by top 10 finishes from Roxanne Wegman (3rd,18:35) and Kristen
Kenny (6th,18:57). Columbia was lead by top 10 finishes by Alison O'Brien
(8th:19:23) and Margaret Rowley (9th,19:24) and a nice tight pack behind
them. Individually Scotia-Glenville's Danielle Schaub used a late kick to
finish in 18:12, beating out Emily Malinowski (18:13) by 1.2 seconds.
