TISS had an outstanding meet despite torrential downpours that fell through the day. The TISS Varsity Boys led by Sophomore Matt Leeder defeated highly ranked Bethlehem and Vermont State Champions Essex in a very hard fought battle. Senior Geoff Millard (11th), Freshman Kyle Milks (15th), Senior Matt Millard (18th), Junior Paul Deshiffart (24th), Senior Scott Burley (31st), and Senior Marc Chicoine (76th) edged the Albany area school 73-77.

The TISS Varsity Girls had an equally strong performance by capturing 1st place over Waterloo Central. Despite missing several key runners, TISS was able vault to first with a second place finish from Sophomore Jenn Wynands. Junior Erica Hirtle (7th), Senior Heidi Rienstra (13th), Junior Jill Davies (17th), Senior Lesley Poole (23rd), Junior Jessica Lundy (40th), and Junior Tori Kerneghan (60th) rounded the excellent team effort.

The TISS Frosh/Midget Boys Team running without lead runner Kyle Milks had an outstanding team finish led by 1st place finisher Will McFall. Jacob Smith slid and slipped his way to a 9th place finish and Mark Ferguson (20th) led a strong group of first year runners to 5th place.

The TISS Frosh Girls team captured 2nd place overall led by individual champion Charlotte Larry. Taylor Sparring, Carley Fox, Stacey Locke, and Ashley Davies led a strong 12 member contingent over a dozen top New England schools.

The JV teams also had several outstanding performances from Krystal Meadus, and Robbie Taylor to allow top 6 place finishes for each.
