Welcome
to St Paul’s Anglican Church, Brockville
We are a family
focused congregation discovering together what
it means to be followers of Jesus in our town
and for our time. Some have attended St. Paul’s
their entire lives. Others are new to any church.
Our
motto is
Being
Disciples...Making Disciples.
The word 'disciple' means
'learner'. We want to be a learning congregation
- open to God’s direction as we read and
study Scripture.
We want to worship in joyful, strengthening
ways .
We want newcomers to feel welcomed and members
to know that they belong to a loving, supportive
Christian community.
And we try hard to serve our town of Brockville
in practical, tangible ways.
Our
regular weekly services are as follows:
Sunday 8:30am:
This is our 'quiet' service. We use either the
traditional Anglican Book of Common Prayer or
its adaptation in the Book of Alternative Services.
The sermon is the same as at the 10:00am service.
Sunday
10:30am:
This is our largest service. It is intergenerational
in focus and a variety of worship music is used.
A children's program is offered during the service,
with the children rejoining us each week in
time for the Holy Communion. Most often we use
the Book of Alternative Services, a Canadian
liturgy in somewhat more contemporary language.
Messy
Church
This is a weeknight, one
hour church experience (and supper) for parents
and preschool children. Watch the web for upcoming
Fall dates.
A
Note about our Offering:
When you come to visit
us, please enjoy our service without feeling
any obligation to give money at the offering.
Make your offering the submission of the white
card in the pew which you can fill out and place
in the plate. This way we have your name; we’d
love to get to know you!
