The Black Snake

The UEL Heritage Centre & Park (Adolphustown) purchased the Jessup Bateaux in the fall of 2002.

The Black Snake ( the Jessup Bateaux) is now officially part of a Loyalist re-enactment unit and is crewed by members of the King's Royal Regiment of New York.  They are formally called Herkimer's Bateau Coy.
