Linksys Router - PPPoE Setup

Follow the included guide to connect the Cable modem to the WAN port on the router and the PC to a port on the router.

Verify there is link by checking the LEDs on the Router.

1 - Click START

2 - Click RUN

3 - Type http://192.168.1.1

4 - Type in "Admin" for the username and leave the password field blank.

5 - Press OK

6 - Select "PPPoE" from the Internet connection type dropdown box.

7 - Type in the username in the "Username" field (must be in the format of username@ripnet.com)

8 - Type in the password in the "Password" field.

9 - Click the option "Keep Alive: Redial period 30 seconds"

10 - Click the option "Enable DHCP"

11 - Press Save at the bottom of the screen.

12 - Reboot the PC and it should be surfing.
