1. Open System Preferences on the dock (it looks like a light switch)

 2. Select "Internet"

 3. Select the email tab on the window.

 4. "Email Address" set to username@ripnet.com

 5. "Incoming Mail Server"

In-coming Mail Server: pop.ripnet.com

 6. "Account Type" select the POP button

 7. "User account ID" set to the e-mail address given to you by RipNET

Account ID: your e-mail address @ripnet.com

 8. “Password" type in your RipNET password

Password: used with e-mail address

 9. "Outgoing Mail Server"

Out-going Mail Server: mail.ripnet.com
 Click the "Show ALL" button on the top left of the window. Your
 email setup is completed.
