Outlook 2000 E-Mail Set-Up:

1.   Open Outlook 2000 (comes with Office 2000)

2.   Click Tools Accounts

3.   Click Add and select Mail Properties

4.   In General - Mail Account, type mail.ripnet.com

5.   In the Name box, type your name

Name: your name

6.   In Email address:

Your username: username@ripnet.com

7.   In Servers - Incoming mail (POP3)

Incoming Mail: pop.ripnet.com

8.   For Outgoing mail (SMTP)

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.ripnet.com

9.   In Name of account, type your e-mail address

Name of Account: e-mail address @ripnet.com

10.  Type your password in the Password box

Password: your password

11.  In Connection, select Connect using my telephone line

12.  Click OK to save your entries

13.  You are now ready to send and receive email
