1. Open Outlook 98 (comes with Office 98)


2. Click Tools – Services

3. On the Services Tab high light Internet Mail, and select the Properties button

4. On the General Tab you will see the name of the e-mail account type

Account: pop.ripnet.com

5. You will see below an area for:

NAME: You’re Name

E-Mail Address: your e-mail address @ripnet.com

Reply Address: your e-mail address @ripnet.com

6. Click on the Servers Tab

7. In the areas provided enter in the required information:

Out-Going Mail: mail.ripnet.com

In-Coming Mail: pop.ripnet.com

8. Make sure that there is a dot in, “Log on Using:”

9. Enter in your e-mail address in the Account Name:

Account Name: your e-mail address @ripnet.com

Password: password

10. Make sure that there is no checks in any authentication boxes

11. Click “Apply”
