1.      Open Outlook 97 (Comes with Office 97)

2.      Click Tools – Services

3.      If you do not see Internet Mail, click "Add", select Internet Mail and click Ok

4.      Select Internet Mail, and click "Properties"

5.      Enter the following information:

Full name : Your full name
Email address : username@ripnet.com
Internet Mail Server : pop.ripnet.com
Account Name : your username
Password : your password

6.      Click advance

7.      Enter in your out bound server name:

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.ripnet.com

8.      Click Ok, you are now ready to send and receive email
