Installing RipNET High-Speed Windows XP:

If you have XP you do not need to install the RipNET High Speed software
If you already have a NIC Card installed on your computer, you DO NOT need to install the NIC card or Drivers provided by RipNET

1. Go to start > control panel

2. Click on Network & Internet Connections

3. Click on create a new connection

4. Click next

5. Check off connect to the internet > click next

6. Check off setup my connection manually > click next

7. Check off connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password> click next

8. Type in RipNET in the ISP name area > click next

9. Make sure that you have a dot beside "Create this connection for anyone's use"

10. Enter in your username@ripnet.com

11. Enter in the password; enter in the password again to confirm.

12. Check off use this account name

13. Check of make this the default internet connection

14. Check of turn on internet connection firewall for this connection

15. Click next

16. Check off add a short cut to this connection to my desktop

17. Click finish

18. Click connect

19. You're on your way to the information high-way!!!!!
