Quarantine Reports

Effective February 22, 2010, if you subscribe to RipNET  SPAM and Virus filtering your Quarantine report will arrive via email daily.  This new quarantine report, labelled Daily Digest, will display all emails which have been flagged as SPAM.

It will be separated into 3 Sections:
 

  • Green Zone - Bulk Email including subscriptions and advertisements
  • Yellow Zone- Suspicious mail quarantined by policy settings
  • Red Zone - SPAM, Phishing, Viruses and potentially dangerous mail


If you scroll down the message list and wish to view a message that has been blocked simply click the "View" link and the quarantined email will be opened in your browser.

At the bottom of the message you have the following options:
 
Click Release to deliver this message to your inbox

There are also 2 check boxes which can be selected:

"Add" email address to your friends list to trust all emails from this user in the future or Add domain to trust all emails from the domain in the future.

You may also wish to view your quarantine report on a real time basis instead of waiting for your daily or weekly quarantine report.  To do this simply go to the following website and login using your email address and password.

From this website you can view your quarantined messages in real time by clicking the Quarantine button at the top of the screen

  • The Inbound section is for any messages that have been sent TO you and have been flagged as spam
  • The Outbound section is for any messages that have been sent FROM you have been flagged as spam

To change the frequency of your quarantine report click the "Settings" tab at the top of the screen.

To modify how SPAM and Viruses are classified click the "Policies" tab at the top of the screen.  By Default all suspicious email will be quarantined.
You may also wish to allow all email from a specific user or domain OR wish to block all email from a specific user or domain.  To do this type in the email address or domain in the friends / enemies section and click the + symbol.  This will add their email address or domain.

To Remove a friend / enemy select their address and click the - symbol
To view an activity report on your email account click the "Status" tab at the top of the screen.
