Working
Task Groups:

Respite Care in Lanark, Leeds & Grenville. The members
will be gathering information about the nature of services
being provided by their respective agencies, their waiting
lists and the extent of services being offered to persons
with Dementia. The group plans to meet in January to

Public Awareness and Early Diagnosis
The current focus of this task group is to improve awareness
to those who may be experiencing the question of cognitive
impairment - where to go, what to ask and who to get
help from. The aim is to have everyone who is affected
with this to be able to feel comfortable with the process
and be able to ask their physicians about what they
should be doing to get a diagnosis and how to receive
the help they may need now and in the future.
