Brockville Irish Cultural Society
Founded in March 1996.
Mission: To promote the music and culture of Ireland in Brockville and area.
Membership: Open to anyone having an interest in Irish Culture and Heritage. Cost is $5.00 due in September of each year.

Activities:
Céilís (2 to 3 per year) at St. Lawrence College Student Pub with performance and enjoyment of traditional Irish Music, Céilí Dancing and Set Dancing.
Occasional Evenings of traditional Music, Poetry, Stories and Songs.
Weekly Dance Classes for children and adults at St. Mary School. (Teacher of Children Siobhan O’Brien 613 591 3764. Leader of the Adult Class Eithne Dunbar 613 342 5461.)
Participation in community events where a display of Irish culture is required.
Organization of workshops in traditional Irish Set Dancing and Music.

Sponsorship of concerts by professional traditional Irish groups such as Reid Taheny Band (Toronto), Angel Band (New Hampshire), Tommy Peoples and Sean Tyrell (Ireland); Maeve Donnelly (Ireland); Searsons (Ontario); Sláinte Mhaith (Cape Breton) Díorma (Ireland)
Links with Kingston Irish Groups, and National Capital Irish Society.
